Since 2017 “Gifted” became in my favourite movie, despite
the good movies that came out after, Gifted is still my favourite.
Gifted is a drama film directed by Marc Webb and written by Tom Flynn. The film tells the story of Frank Adler (Chris Evans) and his niece Mary Adler (Mckenna Grace), a seven-year-old child who is intellectual gifted. Once Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan), Frank’s mother and Mary’s grandmother, found out this, she wants Mary’s custody.
When I knew that this movie would be released, I have to admit that I wanted to watch it because Chris Evans would be in it. But, after I saw the trailer, I was really interested in the plot because I like stories with gifted characters, besides, I knew Mckenna Grace from others previous jobs, so I was excited to see her acting.
I couldn’t believe how much I loved the movie, and here I am four years later still loving it.
Marc Webb’s movie is beautiful! I remember that I cry on many occasions. The actors do a great job and we can empathize with their characters, even more when we learn about their background. I really love Mary and Frank’s relationship because it’s honest, funny, and like any family, they have disagreements. The scenes are well constructed, you have a lot of memorable moments where the dialogue is simple but wonderful, and sometimes don’t even a dialogue is needed to get into your heart.

Hello! I have not seen this movie but after reading your comment I am excited to watch it. I'm not very good at watching movies but my favorite is Grown Ups 2, I've seen it many times and I've never stopped laughing hahaha. Greetings

Hi Mariana, I saw Gifted a long time ago, so I don't remember the details, but I did cry haha. I saw it because of the synopsis, I really liked the performance of the main character, and seeing Chris Evans playing that role gave me years of life.
